Women as the abuser?

One thing I've noticed a lot during my time here on eve is a lot of y'all are very good at identifying at women in abusive abusive relationships, but some of you will turn around and be controlling and abusive your SOs as well... How do you guys feel about abusuve women?

I think all abusers, regardless of gender are scum.

I was in an abusive relationship with a man, my current partner was in an abusive relationship with a woman.

We both suffered and we both struggled.

I would go as far to say that he suffered more due to the stigma attached to men who are abused by their female partners, and also due to the fact that even though she would hit him, he couldn't hit her, otherwise he would have been arrested for domestic abuse.

I have no problem calling that crap out. Anyone who has a problem with it can suck rocks. Abuse is abuse. Gender plays no roll.

Controlling who they talk to
Who they are friends with etc. Is abuse. End of story.

You can call me rude, names, etc. I will call you out. It isn't funny, it isn't a joke, it is serious. It is also another reason why domestic abuse isn't taken seriously.

A hospital stay or a body bag shouldn't be needed to have someone do something.

My brother had a girlfriend that would beat the crap out of him and would scratch him pretty bad with her nails... Not much he could do to defend himself because he was raised not to hit women ever... It's a really messed up thing.. Nobody believed that she was hurting him.

If you feel differently about a abuser because that person has certain genitals, you have some serious problems. Abusers are abusers. Period.

I think abuse is wrong regardless of the sex of the perpetrator.  I have been using glow and nurture for over a year and don't think I've seen anyone argue that it's acceptable for a female to abuse their partner.

The same way as I do about man abusers who do it to women. It's a smaller scale issue though because it's not as many people
