Child custody

As anyone ever gone though child custody. I've went though it 5yrs ago we went though mediation and now I'm going back on Friday. I think it's going to be harder this time because my daughter is a little girl now and she sees how her dad treats her and all the empty promises he tells her. He really hasn't spent much time with her in the year. She sees it and ask me why doesn't want to spend time with her. Don't what to do on Friday
