Comforting others...

Does anyone else ever feel like they have to comfort other people in your family about your infertility. In our situation it's my MIL. She means well but whenever we have news she is the one we end up comforting instead of the other way around. She also doesn't think before she speaks and says things like "is that procedure going to be worth it?" For a baby YES ITS WORTH IT!! She always seems to end up making me more upset and I've pretty much made the decision to not be there when my husband shares things with her. Anyone else feel this way with family members? How do you handle them and the insensitive things that are said?
