Should soon to be fathers get to celebrate Father's Day?

A lot of women who are pregnant expect the dad to buy them gifts. So do you think the same should apply to a dad who is anticipating the arrival of his first born? Are you women buying your man something if he did the same for you?

I was curious to see the outcome on fathers day lol. When the mothers to be were posting about how hurt they were for not getting mothers day presents or acknowlement even tho there is no child to raise yet, i was wondering how it was going to play out on fathers day lol. Ill have my popcorn ready. For the record,  although im pregnant now, ive been raising my older children. So my kids gave me a nice mothers day. But with my first (20 years ago) it was unheard of giving presents to mothers or fathers to be.

Why are people so concerned with who does or does not celebrate mother's/father's day? How is this affecting your life?

My dad wished me a happy mother's day because I am now a step mom, but it is weird because I am only slightly older than them, and because of all of our pets (2 cats, 2 rats, and a 40-ish pound lap dog that is 4 months old)
