I'm a hairdresser and worked until I was 7 months pregnant. It's okay to color your hair. Just don't put bleach on your scalp. Also sometimes color doesn't react the same now that you are pregnant because of hormones. But I've never had any issues with myself or anyone

Don't use box dye when pregnant. Your hair composition is different and the color could come out wrong - a professional will make it look great and can use ammonia free color!

Your hormones can make your hair so crazy things! My hair take 30+ minutes longer to process when I'm pregnant! The company is protecting themselves because they can't be there to see if you're doing it in proper ventilation and whatnot.
