Doctor opinions

My OB has mentioned that I may need a c section with this baby. My first was 8.9. He said when I delivered my first his shoulders were stuck for a second. No one panicked and it was never mentioned until now. My husband and I are both big so he wants to monitor this baby and do c section of he thinks he will be big. This doctor is known for c sections, some that aren't really needed. I really don't want a csection. I'm obese and don't want more problems after birth. Anyway.. Do I stay and hope for the best or seek a second opinion? If so, when? When he brings it up near the end or now?
