High Risk?

Hi ladies- I'm unfortunately considered high risk due to a clotting issue- was wondering if anyone else was in the same boat? Could really use someone to compare notes with!

I am lupus anticoagulant positive. We just found this out a month before my pregnancy. Thank goodness. I am high risk as well.

High risk due to a heart condition- I'm trying to look at the bright side: more dr visits, ultrasounds, etc.

I'm high risk. Due to a hypercoagulation disorder. I have to tak baby aspirin daily, as well as deliver at 38 weeks. I have a regular ob and a specialist. I was thankful enough to have my dads mom tell me she had it and that I should get tested for it with my first. I had a tear in my placenta and was ok bed rest for a good while with my first pregnancy hoping for the best this time😊

Im in the same boat! I was also considered high risk withmy first child due to high blood pressure. I had to do stress testing and be monitored twice a week in the last trimester with my son. I was also induced a week early with him cause thats what happens when you are high risk. This time, i also have more heaIth conditions and medication that aid into me being high risk. I am wondering if it will be the same as with my first, I will find out as this pregnancy progresses. Goodluck to all you fellow high risk mamas!

I was high risk with mo/mo twins at Women's Hospital and LOVED it. Had like 10 ultrasounds, the weekly bloodwork sucked, but I had just graduated college and could stay home, and the weekly visits were so enjoyable for me. They really spoiled me both throughout pregnancy and at birth/after BECAUSE I was high risk. I loved it. Of course, it depends on the pregnancy, circumstances, etc. I couldnt imagine going weekly now with our next lol

I was high risk with my last 2! My water ruptured with my 2nd and she was born at 34 weeks 4 1/2 pounds! My last 2 were born at 36 weeks but 6'1 and 5'11 and came home with me the next day...however with my last I was dilating at 5 months already so was watched closely.

Yes, I am too and have been taking daily Clexane injections to prevent complications since finding out I was pregnant.

I need to be retested for blood clotting but I'm also high risk - I have Sjogrens.
