S/O had picked a name for the baby but I've never 100% liked it because of pronouncation difficulties. Now he is incarcerated...and I want to change the name. His family says I should keep it the name he wanted and others say it's my baby name her what I want.

Are you still together and communicate? I'd discuss it with him to see if he has anymore ideas that you may like better. You can always move it to the middle name or switch it up a bit so that it's something from the both of you.

Since you are not together and he is incarcerated with a RO then I would say name her what you would like. It's part of the risk when you are not coupled with the other parent on the babies birthday.

He kinda forfeited his vote when he decided to make bad choices. Like not being a supportive partner not to mention going to jail. My ex doesn't see his daughter at all. It bad enough the poor girl looks just like him. I'm so glad I named her after my mother and not the stupid cartoon shit he wanted to name her.
