5 weeks pregnant & experiencing brown discharge??

It happens mostly when I'm active i.e. walking briskly.

Is this normal?

My Dr told me that typically brown blood is old blood and isn't an issue, could be remainders from a previous period that works its way out when you're active.

Sounds like an implantation bleed, but if it increases during activity, I would mention it to your OB. Better to be safe.
