Harmony test!?

So I'm getting it done the 17th and results are supposed to come back a week later... Hopefully baby is perfectly healthy! But also I'm worried about the gender my MIL wants to plan a birthday/ gender reveal party for us on the 26th my birthday and I've heard that the test can be wrong do you think we should wait for the scan to tell us?... Also I'll be 14 weeks during the blood draw!

Okay awesome. The anticipation is killing me 🙈 I called my doctor to order the test and she's like remember it can be wrong for the gender. I think she was just trying to get me not to do the testing. My cousin has down syndrome so knowing would put my mind at ease and could help me prepare just in case! Thank you!

The blood test is more accurate than an ultrasound. The only time it is not 100% accurate is with multiples (which is only because it doesn't tell you how many of which sex there is).

My dr told me the chances of the test being wrong are very low and also a blood test is far more accurate then an ultrasound...I wouldn't worry about it 😊
