What happens if you don't take your prenatal

Is it bad if you don't take your prenatal? Or miss a few times? Is it bad???

I haven't taken mine in a while and I'm actually super healthy right now. I got all my vitamins from other sources though. So if you're not eating healthy, then take your prenatals. My body has never been able to handle vitamins though

I couldn't take mine for a month or two because of extreme morning sickness. Just set an alarm on your phone to remind you, missing a few is okay. Women had healthy children before prenatals were even invented lol

Aside from the folic acid very early on (which really they recommend taking before you even get pregnant) the vitamins are more for you than for baby. Baby will take everything it needs from you even if it leaves you vitamin/mineral deficient. Missing some here and there isn't a big deal but it's definitely better for you to take them.

But! I also eat super healthy.
My blood work was perfect 
My nurse said they're more to replenish mom than baby.
I told her how I eat and she said I'm perfectly fine.

I didn't like mine and started taking a gummy prenatal instead I leave it on the counter so in the morning it's the first thing I see

Prenatal help give you things you need because baby takes it from you. Like iron and stuff. Makes it to where you wanna get up and do stuff instead of being lazy because everything's being drained from you lol. My OB told me that if you don't take prenatals you have a chance of having a blood infusion during or after birth because of all the blood lose. I went practically my whole pregnancy without them because the kind I had made me sick & I always forgot to get a new kind. I have two months left and just recently started taking new ones. And there amazing lol.
