Pregnancy and softball ?

Just found out in pregnant I'm 6 weeks today. I have games tonight bit not sure if I should play or not I'm really early in the pregnancy not sure if playing would hurt the baby ?  Anyone know if I should or not ?

The doctors usually tell us if you've done it before pregnancy your body is accustomed to it and it shouldn't affect the baby at all. I'm a baggage handler at the airport and I lifted bags 50-80lbs for 8 hours/day until I was 6 months and only stopped because of being tired. You can check out other woman that still do weight lifting throughout their whole pregnancy as well. Play ball⚾️

You're probably fine, unless you play a particularly aggressive style of softball. Always check with your doctor if you're concerned about something, but most will say you can keep up your usual activities (unless you're into extreme sports like scuba diving etc). I ran, hiked, swam, lifted weights and did yoga until I was well into my third trimester :)

I think you should ask your doctor. I would assume it's OK because they say if you're active you can continue your activity, but better safe than sorry so you should ask!

I would say go for it just don't do any crazy slides or dives

I'm not crazy fit but I do alot of out door activities I play coed softball it's been rained out the past month so I havnt even played sense being pregnant I wouldn't say it's crazy competitive so I'm thinking I will go ahead and play ! Thank you for all your comments !
