Bloody show?

So for the last couple of days I keep having discharge that looks like yellow snot but it has streaks of red blood running threw it. I saw my doctor last week and I was dilated to a 3. But he said my cervix is still really thick. Do you think I could be going into labor pretty soon? Or is it normal to have some bloody discharge? I'm only 36 weeks and 2 days. This is my 4th baby but I've never had the bloody show before..
