TTC with Fibroids

Three years ago, a doctor told me I would never have another child.  I have a 21 inch fibroid (the equivalent of being 7 months pregnant).  There were no treatment options for me other than a hysterectomy (which I didn't want) and even that was risky because I was so severely anemic.  I moved to Phoenix and found a doctor crazy enough to take me on as a patient.  He respected the fact that I didn't want a hysterectomy and performed a uterine artery embolization.  Today,  the tumor is not gone, but it's shrunk enough that I can safely conceive.  But there are challenges:  I'm 39 and I still have fibroids.  Is anyone else TTC with a fibroids?  Any tips/advice would be helpful.
