Is "positive" necessarily positive?

After 3 days late and a lot of worry, I took a hpt this evening. You guessed it - positive. So was the second one. But this pregnancy is from a casual hookup and circumstances aren't good. I am so overwhelmed I don't know what to do. And I can't even call the gyno until Monday to talk about options and get a better grasp on things. Please tell me I'm not the only one going through this. *Sigh*

I've been in your shoes where it is anything but good timing. I felt really dumb for not protecting myself better. I looked into all my options and decided what was best for me. 
You will hear the wonderful stories of those who kept their babies, but adoption or abortion are just as valid of options. You can find support for whatever your choice is.
I hope whatever choice you make is the right one for you, and only you can decide what that is.

I honestly hope they're not accurate. I have two positive Clearblue digital tests, I am going to Planned Parenthood on Tuesday for confirmation. I'm so hoping I got a faulty box of tests. I always thought I would be happy when this happened, but I'm oddly bummed. Keep us posted with your story, no judgement at all from my end if you decide to not go through with it.

My first son is from a relationship that did not work out. The father was never really involved. Have you told the guy what is going on? It is not easy to be a single mom but it is doable and very rewarding!! I love my son and wouldn't change a thing.

Try to take some deep breaths, sounds like calling the doc on Monday is a good idea. A positive on a Home test is generally very accurate, to answer your question. You are definitely not alone in not best timing/situation. While different, I know, I recently started a job that I thought would be awesome and perfect for me trying to have a second child. I got there and immediately realized that they are not family friendly at all and it is a bad fit for me. But by that point, it was too late. Fast forward to me 6 weeks pregnant and desperately hoping I can find a new job before they realize I'm pregnant! Eek!
