Often after I nurse my baby, she's 3 weeks, she doesn't burp. I try changing her position and sometimes that works but a lot of times she never burps and this is like after an hour of burping her still. Can anything happen to her if she doesn't burp

Breastfed babies burp much less than formula fed/bottle fed babies. They take in less air. Sometimes they dont have to burp at all and are just fine. My son was this way, rarely burped. He is now 4 months and will burp occasionally.

Instead of patting her back, try sitting her on your lap with one hand holding her in the front and the other hand rubbing her back from the bottom up. Also in the same position, try rocking her back/forth and side to side from the waist up. It gets those gas bubbles out faster. That worked better for me than all that patting on the back.

My son was stubborn I litterly had to squish him into a ball.  Nothing else worked.  But my nephew just a light rub on his back in circles did it.  Try all different positions till you find one.
