Calling off for work

LaVonna
I've worked at home depot for just about 4 years now and I haven't had the best experience with the company or management I can say. It's been a very stressful and overall annoying experience but it's put money in my pockets. When I found out I was pregnant and gave the managers my doctors note with the doctors require accommodations it took them 4 months to actually file it and send it to HR corporate office like they should have. It was only after I called corporate because I'd requested to be moved from the receiving warehouse where I was still handling hazmat materials and lifting heavy boxes every day. Let's just say I really dislike my job even more since in pregnant, however, I want to try to stick it out until my scheduled LOA. I know that alot of mom's get sick and I've actually been lucky to not get so sick so much just the drained sick feeling I suppose. I've called out a good amount of times I won't lie but I feel really bad when I do like I'm pissing them off even more and asking for sympathy. The other women there who've been pregnant always tell me it's okay it's expected and my friends and family tell me that same. Is it bad to call out because I'm not feeling good or I really just do not have the energy to deal with the stressful environment?
