I'm sorry, but this trashed up my news feed and I had to get some of y'alls opinion. Be it the man or the women, each person shows their value in the relationship by giving something (and it doesn't have to be materialistic). By not appreciating what you SO does for you, I don't think they'd even want to make you a wife. I know I wouldn't marry someone who didn't appreciate the things I do to make a relationship work. Rant over!!

Lol becoming a wife isn't something a man does for us. We do it for them. we do them a favor by taking their last name. By marrying them. The hell is this shit lmao

I actually think this makes a lot sense. Too many women do anything and everything for boyfriends who can up and leave them whenever, without repercussions.  Once you get married he is showing that he wants to be with you forever and is ready to be completely committed to you.

That makes no sense to me. I think the things you do for each other (again not materialistic) make you build a relationship towards marriage and marriage is definitely not the biggest thing (or biggest sign of commitment) a man can do

I don't idolize anyone man, woman, bf or husband. I only bow to and for God. I personally would not play house with a man who was not trying to one day become my husband. And though I did appreciate bf's I wouldn't play that wife roll to those who were not planning to put a ring on it.
