Did you become infertile after having chlamydia?

For those who have had it before are you still having trouble or did you have a successful pregnancy after? Just asking from  experience.

I had it and I'm 8 months with a healthy baby. I think it only makes you infertile if you develop PID and you have to have it for a very long time for you get PID.

I got chlamydia from an ex who I was with for just over 18months, he never knew he had it until I got tested and told him. I would have had it almost the whole 18 months or so and the drs told me I had pid and that it would be very difficult if not impossible to fall pregnant after scans and tests. Roll on almost 2years later a new partner of a year and we fell pregnant with our son after 9months of unprotected sex(post sti testing) and now 5years later I'm baking our second baby with a whole 17weeks to go after ttc 6months, irregular bleeding and no positive ovulation tests! Miracles do happen!

I had chlamydia twice from my medication not working the first time. I am not infertile, and they actually showed me via transvaginal ultrasound all of my eggs. Usually pid only becomes an issue if you've had clamydia untreated for years. If you're still worried about it though your doctor can run tests like to see if your tubes are blocked or to see your egg count
