High maintenance boyfriend
Hey ladies! So I would like youopinion on this. My boyfriend of 9 months and I love each other and all BUT. I feel like he is a little high maintenance. He's never been doing well financially a month after we got together he started doing really bad financially and I had been helping him when he really needed help even with food and giving him rides to a lot of places because he doesn't have a car. He's been thu a lot and I understand and I'm not that girl who's like oh you're poor and you don't have a car well we can't be together.
I'm not rich either so I understand.
But lately we've been arguing about me not getting him anything like gifts or materialistic things. He says that he has gotten me far more things than I have gotten him. And I'm starting to have 2nd thoughts.... I asked him to send me a wish list of the things he wanted and he literally sent me an email with like 2 things he wanted.
Which aren't too expensive like 40-70 dollars. But I'm like what?! Is that even appropriate? I'm the girl here and I'm not whining about not getting gifts!
He texted me "Get with a guy who has a bigger well. I need a girl who will be financially independent and just as much of a giver as she is a taker" you can call me high maintenance because I like sentimental items that remind me of the person That I care about"
