No back pain?

Question

I've been reading complaints about back back... I am 16+4 and have had no back pain... I mean that is normal right? I am a big woman but I didn't think back pain was until later in pregnancy if any at all...

I've had back pain my whole life thanks to scoliosis but it lessened when I changed jobs. Now it's back since I have to sleep on my sides. I like sleeping on the side but I don't have the freedom to roll to my back like before. Getting more pillows in a couple weeks so maybe that will help.

I think "normal" is different for everyone. Back pain is definitely one of those things that depends on the person. With my first pregnancy, my back was out of alignment and pinching my sciatic nerve the entire time. This pregnancy, I just started having the same issues with severe back and neck pain a week or so ago. I'm on the very thin side and have a reverted uterus, which adds to the pain. Also puts me in the ballpark for back labor, which I experienced with my daughter! Like someone above said, count your blessings with being back-pain-free!! 👍🏼💞

I am bigger and have had back pain the entire pregnancy...my little pumpkin is pushing on my sciatic nerve...soooo painful. Count your blessings lol.

If you're already bigger maybe that's why I think the smaller people probably notice it worse cause of shift in where they carry weight. I'm overweight too and always had a bigger belly and I haven't really noticed much back pain yet and I'm 19 weeks.

I have noticed it more so because I have had to change how I sleep. I have always been a stomach sleeper. I have also basically always had back issues, and hip issues.
