Cervical biopsy?

Has anyone else had a cervical biopsy? I am so scared I have to have one tomorrow but I'm really scared what happens? Do you get anasthetic? Any info would be amazing thanks guys

I've had multiple. It's not horrible by any stretch of the imagination, but it does sting a little. You'll most likely cramp afterwards. My doctor's office offered me numbing medication beforehand and some Tylenol after.

My mom had it done a few times. Definitely take pain meds before you go, like the comment above says. 
Good luck! It will be over before you know it, just keep reminding yourself of that!

Take some paid meds before you go. It's not pleasant, but totally manageable

It doesn't hurt just is uncomfortable and burns some and may feel like period cramps you bleed a little after and they numb you with spray but it doesn't really make a difference
