Opinions please?!

My son's promotion ceremony from 5th grade is tomorrow. My baby will be 6 days old. I hate to miss it but am worried about taking her. My husband will go either way. Opinions on if I should go or stay home? My son says he understands if I can't.

I would say go and babywear if you can. It will keep others away from babies face, and sit near the exit in case you need to leave for any reason :)

I'm sons in the first grade an having a ceremony. An I'm not going .. I'm 39 weeks an my health isn't  up to parts .. He'll understand  make it up to him when he gets home .. Imma give my guy some cake he loves cake 😊

I missed my son transition ceremony from the 5th to the 6th grade due to having nursing school finals. I made it right at the end. My husband and mother were there. My baby understood but deep down it does hurt me that I couldn't be there. Your baby is at the age were he understands whats going on and things happen. I say as long as someone is their to support them it should be fine.

Thanks ladies. I am still not sure about going and my feet are so swollen I doubt I can fit in any shoes I have!
