How do we introduce our cat to our baby?

He will be 11 when the baby is born and he's always been great with new people and animal friends. We want to make sure he behaves.

When my nephew was born, my brother brought home a blanket from the hospital and let his animals get used to the smell before bringing the baby home. :)

There's an article online that I read about introducing your dog to the baby, I'm sure you can use the same tips. One is like the person earlier said is bring the blanket or clothing to the house and let him sniff it. But you should also take a small piece of clothing like a sock and put it in their good dish and put the food in over it so they associate the baby with getting fed. Animals think a new baby/person/animal in the house means they get less food. So giving them good while smelling the baby shows then they're not gonna starve.
