Baby dropping???

So this is probably one of those posts I should warn it may be TMI for some.

Yesterday my SO and I had sex. Yet it was uncomfortable. I kept feeling like he was hitting something. He was super careful and when we finished I was curious.

I of course washed my hands super well and when I went to clean up, I decided to check it out and my cervix is way closer to the opening of my vagina than it usually is and instead of pointing backwards it's facing more frontwards.

I of course felt that and instantly stopped, I wasnt going to exam on my own any farther. I should add around my cervix was hard, like I didn't know if it was the baby's head or what, I just never had my vaginal walls feel so hard before.

This is baby #3 for me and my first 2 were 34 weekers. I was on bedrest with them and not allowed to have sex so this is a newer experience for me.

Is this a sign that baby is dropping? I already expect him to more than likely be a 34 weeker as well, but if this is him dropping and I'm only 29 weeks, is this also a sign that I may have him sooner? I know they say after baby 1, baby dropping usually happens closer to labor.

I have also had an increase of pressure in my back and butt and also at times in my pelvic area, it's on and off and it hurts.

I have an appt tomorrow but thought I would ask to see what some of you ladies think beforehand, just for some ideas.
