What size clothes did you buy?

When your child was just born did your size N clothes fit on him/her? Or did you buy bigger just in case, based off of the sono.

Newborn are big on my son. He was 7 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches. I didn't get much newborn. Just a few pack of onesies and a few outfits.

Both of my boys were in newborn. They were 7lb5 and 6lb1. My littlest one just grew out of newborns at 2 months old but my bigger twin grew out of them at 3 weeks-ish. Pretty much they fit into newborns until they hit 8lbs.

The feedback I've gotten on this from a lot of mommy friends is to not buy a lot of newborn clothes but rather 0-3 months. They're a little bigger than newborn and they'll last little longer for them to grow out of.

By new born , I accidentally bought 0-3months and my baby is 5pounds and only fit newborn .
