Is this normal?

Every month, my period is usually a few days  earlier than the month before. Say it was on the 11th of April, then in May, it would be on the 8th. And get earlier each month. This month it was supposed to start on the 5th. And it hasn't yet. I've had no usual PMS symptoms, and I'm having yellow discharge. It isn't an infection. But is it normal for my period to start at the beginning of the last month, and then at the end of the next month? I guess I'll just play the waiting game until the end of June...
