When did your babies hair change texture and stay

Question

My baby is mostly African American but he's mixed with white and Indian his hair is still really soft and has been the same texture since he was 4 months old he's 10 months old now it's just soft curls will it stay like this or is it going to change and turn nappy ? Or should I say kinky since everything someone post is a freaking problem 🙄🙄.. Seeing that I am AA I call it what it is and nappy hair is beautiful no matter what I love curls too

My children all are mixed and non of there hair ever changed texture whatever you do dont let people put anything in his hair

Whatever you do don't cut it with a machine.  Have them scissor cut it when you're ready to.  Sometimes baby's hair will change texture in spots where they sleep on it most and it will become kinky however if you use a machine to cut it then it will definitely change its texture.

I was born with curly hair and still have it to this day lol! That looks like his hair texture and it probably will not change. Just be careful of the products you put in it :) he is a cutie pie !

Do not cut it or it will change. Just let it be for as long as you can. Possibly until he is around 2-3, then get his hair scissor cut and not with a blade. Sometimes baby's hair still changes, it can fall out in the meantime but not cutting it can at least let it do its own natural thing.

I have no idea because I'm white and have no experience with this. But he's freaking cute. I have a friend who's son is half black and his hair has stayed the same as when he was born.
