How long can I wait to go to the doctor?

I am 3w6d and my husband just recently switched jobs so the insurance from the old job is done but the new insurance for the new job hasn't started and when I called my doctor she said with my first visit and all the test I might be looking at $500 out of pocket, I was wondering if I could wait till next month to try to go which would make me 8-9 weeks! I don't want to wait too long Bc i had a early miscarriage in March but I know if it's going to happen again there isn't  much I can do! When is the latest best time to go?

My OBGYN actually doesn't schedule appointments until 8 week mark. Most OBGYN's do not see you until you're at least 8 weeks unless you're just doing urine and blood tests to confirm the pregnancy. If you are for sure pregnant, 8 weeks is the norm to see your doctor because there isn't much they can do before that point. 
I am 4w4d and won't be seeing my doc for another month and haven't seen anyone yet. Don't worry!

I just made an appointment with a new dr and I have to wait until I'm 12 weeks.

I'm 3w6d also!  Just got my BFP yesterday.  Congrats.  But waiting is fine.  I would be taking prenatal vitamins of course.  Just the sooner the insurance picks up the better to get in fast.
