What's a typical day for a baby less than two months old?

I have been reading others post on spending time with their LO, and I realized most of you can get the baby in bed and sleep by 9 or 10 pm. I usually have my baby girl sleep by midnight even we start the feeding at 9ish or 10 at night. How do you manage to do that?

My day starts at 8am recently since I rented a double pump, LO wakes up at 7 for a feed and goes back to sleep till 9. Then she doesn't nap much during the day until we got a baby bouncer, so I don't have time to cook when she's awake most of the time. Husband comes home around 6 to cook and we finish dinner by 8:30, I pump before shower and get in bed while husband bathes LO. LO gets in bed with me around 10 most of time.  I breastfeed and supplement with formula using lactation aid (feeding tube), so her feeding  before bedtime takes 1.5 to 2 hours.

I would like to know how your typical day goes when the LO doesn't sleep much during the day. Any advice that can get my LO sleeps by 10 the latest when she's very demanding for human hug

My day: baby wakes up at 6, feed. Play for a while then nap. 9 oclock feed. Play for a while then nap. 12? Oclock feed, play for a while then nap. Same for 3 & 6. Around 7 i get her ready for bed bath or change and she is in bed by 7:30 8:00. (This is my 2nd kid and im very addament from BIRTH that there is a "bedtime") she wakes 6 hours later around 2am for a quick feeding then goes right back to sleep till 6. (This is her two month schedule)

Now as far as running your house, whether your little one is awake or asleep you need to do what you need to do. If your not feeding or pumping (which does take a lot of time) you need to just do your stuff. Im not sure why you cant cook supper cause your feeding? Then cook before or after that feeding. Its ok to put the baby down. My number one rule when having a baby from birth is to always put the baby down when she is asleep. To put the baby down if you need to do something. Now at 4 months if i need to put her down unless she is hungry she loves it! Its not to late to train your LO!

I basically breastfeed her on both sides, and she gets around 30 mL (according to the lactation consultant). Then I add the feeding tube for formula to my breast to feed her again. This process takes 40 min to an hour. Then i play with her a little bit. If she can be calm by herself, I will pump for 15 min. Once the pumping is done, I have to clean the tube and pumping kit before she needs me to hold her again. This feeding-playing-pumping-cleaning cycle takes almost two hours. When she doesn't nap, I have to hold her or use baby carrier. It's hard to cook with her in front of me even in the carrier.

Can I ask why u pump and use formula via tube?  I read on here so much about women spending hours pumping!  Here in the UK we just breast feed as and when baby is hungry!  Not a criticism I just wondered!

When my son was first born I had difficulties getting him to bed but by 2 months he was sleeping in his crib. He gets a bath at 8 and after his bath he gets some nice bed time lotion and I turn his lights off and turn his night light on and play his rain sounds (been playing this sound while he sleeps since shortly after birth) while I rock him in his chair while he eats and he's out like a light every time. He sleeps all night without waking for feedings now for over a month and he's 4 months now.
