Needing a really honest opinion here girls please, I have just turned 18 and the person I'm sort of with at the moment is turning 32 this year, is it wrong? 
I feel guilty about it and really worry about what people will think, but the last thing I want is for him to think I'm ashamed of him.

Has he dated other 18 year olds in recent years?

Legally there's no problem but a lot of older guys date young women so that they can maintain power over them. Age difference isn't always an issue but you should be cautious.

My best friend dates guys in that age range and it does nothing but destroy her each time. It gets her into so much trouble and they leave her and come back to her. They toy with her emotions and put her in situations she can't get out of. The first guy beat her, the second made her take care of his kids while she was pregnant with his child while he would run off for days , and the current runs off for days and never lets her make a decision. But she is completely brainwashed and thinks he loves her. Old guys take advantage of young women because they  aren't experinced.

I'm in the same boat. I turn 18 in 2 weeks and the guy I'm seeing is in his late 20s. He's so sweet and we've been friends for years but I'm so worried about what people would think of us
