I'm happy to say that I've been off my weekly Makena injections for three weeks now (personal choice). I am 27 weeks 5days and I have honestly never felt better to be off it. The side effects I felt and had to endure was too much for me. I suffered debilitating migraines that would last for days, extreme exhaustion, nausea and I still had slight contractions I was hospitalized twice for. It's been almost three weeks and I have never felt better, I have not experienced migraines and nausea, exhaustion (which sucks when you HAVE to work a full time job to provide for your family) and I have not had any pain or unconfortbaility from contractions of any kind. I also read online a bunch of times about going into labor 12 days after stopping and I call b.s on that too.
