Freaking Out!

AF is never late, we have been trying for 3 months. Tomorrow marks day 5 of missed period, no spotting, nothing!! However I have taken home tests and they come back negative! Trying to figure out what's going on?? Should I take a blood test? Or just wait a week and test again? Keeping my fingers crossed!!
