Bestfriend day ?! My BF no longer claims me as her Best Friend. Help

So in 10th grade I met my friend serenity. We instantly connected , and became beat friends. We talked about everything, helped with problems. Slept over each others house. But I moved in 12 grade 30 mins away. She had a baby at 18 , we still were close and still called each other beat friends. We went out alot , we are now 22 but about 2 years ago she was in an abusive relationship. As was I , but I left him.... I seriously got hurt, almost died in my relationship. Had to press charges, well my friend and I went out one day and her bf came around and started beating her ass outside and I was the only one there. I tried to get him off her. I cried as she later on the floor and called cops. Took her to police station and told her I would support her though it all. Well since then our friendship has changed. She kept saying that night , if Asia was here she would have beat his ass "her other friend " I'm sorry but it wasn't my territory to start hitting her man. I did the best I could. And since then she doesn't ask to hang out and now when she tags friends in posts she no longer includes me , today is best friend day and she didn't add me in her collage , I'm hurt that she threw our friendship away over a man. Did I do something wrong ? Should I have hit him and defended her ? Should I apologize ? Or should I just leave her alone ..
