Do female condoms help prevent the spread of stds and stis like male condoms do? And are they difficult to use?

Female condoms are comparable to male condoms in that they protect against unplanned pregnancies, STIs/STDs, HIV, and Zika. Since the outer ring is larger it can reduce the risk of herpes and genital warts so it offers more protection. It's latex and hormone free.
