Could I be pregnant ?

Hi , my period was due on Monday its now Thursday night , and nothing , my period had been tracked for the last 5 years which is how long Iv been ttc. I normally have a typical 28 day cycle it's day 32 today .... I am so tired of negatives I haven't done a test , my breasts are tender , not unusual for af's visit . Could I be pregnant ? When should I do a test .... I don't want to do one too soon and be devestated again .
