High I was just wondering whether my dad could pass on the frantile twin gene to me. My nan was a twin she sadly passed away. And my dad sadly passed away aswell before I was born. So I didn't know about the twins in my family X

Yes, he could have! The hyperovulation gene is carried on the X chromosome. Since he definitely got his X chromosome from his mom (and Y from his dad),  and he gave you his only X chromosome, it's highly likely that you inherited from his line. Does that make sense?

My dad is a twin and I'm having twins :) so I think it can be passed down

This is how I got twins - my dads mom was a girl/boy twin. Now I'm 29 weeks with boy/girl twins.

I think twin genes are passed on through the mothers not fathers...but I don't know that for sure
