Pumping enough?

I have a 6 day old baby and I'm pumping 2 oz in 20 minutes. Is that a enough? I use my medela electric pump and pump about an ounce per breast in 20 minutes. After 20 minutes I usually can't pump anymore. And does anyone have an idea of how many ounces is enough for a newborn per feeding?

Don't stress about how much you're pumping. As long as baby acts satisfied then it's all okay. That's one thing I wished I hadn't done was stress about how much I was producing. If you feel like you need to produce more just pump between feelings. But at 6 days old 2 ounces should be fine. But just listen to your baby.

I think i was only getting like 2-3 ounces at 1 week old. Youll start making more as time goes on. Does your baby seem satisfied with the 2 ounces?

My guy is 13 days old and eats 4 ounces per feeding at this point.
