Possible gallbladder issue

So in the past few months I have been having abdominal pain. That just keeps getting worse. I have had an ultrasound, an endoscopy, a hida, and a cat scan. All came back fine. But he says that there can still be problems with the gallbladder no matter what the tests say. So bc of family history and where my pain is located, and other symptoms my gastroenterologist still believes that it is my gallbladder. So he has referred me to a surgeon.

My question is what is the surgeon going to do?

Is he going to run more tests? Are there even any more tests to do?

Or is he just going to do surgery?
