So I'm confused!

My boobs hurt like hell every time I get my period (or am about to get it) it NEVER comes on time (usually 3 days late At least) and stays for 4-5 days.... Except this time... Boobs didn't hurt at all, 2 days early and I only spotted for about 2 days than nothing.... Any ladies that have experienced the same thing? Was it just a light period or did you later find out you were pregnant.... I'm not showing any symptoms of being pregnant at all but Im confused! Thanks!
