Maca root and TTC. Does it work?

I have been reading about the benifits of maca for a few weeks and finally went to purchase some powder from a natural foods store. Has anyone else tried this and if so what we're your results. TTC for 2 years baby number 1 with no luck. It's supposed to increase sex drive in men and balance our female hormones which would be helpful because I have PCOS never have a menstrual period and don't ovulate.
