Work with "morning" sickness ?

Question

How is everyone coping with morning sickness at work ? Are people having time off because of it ? I'm so bad Iv been signed off for one week :-(
​I have heard employers can ask you to take early maternity leave if you have too much time off , does anyone know anymore on this?

I've been going in like a zombie and just trying to make it through the day. I'm always snacking or sucking on a hard candy. It's hard, sometimes I go sit in my car and cry! Hope you feel better soon!

I ended up on zofran 8mg 3 times a day to be able to work, since taking time off wasn't an option. As long as I keep up my dose my "morning" sickness is kept at bay.

I'm in HR and if your employer is large enough and you have met the hours and length of service requirements, FMLA is a federal law offering you up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave. This can be used during or after the pregnancy. And it can be used in small increments if necessary. Ask your HR for more info or google it. Good luck - hope u feel better soon!

Im not pregnant yet but I'm very worried on how bad it's going to be. The last 2 pregnancies I was casual so I worked bare minimum and with the 2nd I worked only nights so it's a lot slower. Now I have a small position that is early mornings and I can't not work them.  I was considering what I can do but I think i might just have to tell people early....

I've been extremely bad. I had sickness from 8.5 weeks till 20 weeks. I work 9 hour shifts 5 days a week and constantly had to run to the bathroom, on a few occasions I didn't make it and have been sick on the floor lol. I'm not 24 weeks and it's just occasional. I only took one day off, just struggled through because at the end of the day I need the money for my baby so she can have the best things and I'll have more maternity leave with her. My maternity leave starts two weeks before she is due
