Micropenis?

I recently started dating this guy and before we had sex or moved onto anything physical he wanted me to know that he had a micropenis. He asked me if I wanted to see it beforehand and if I was comfortable moving forward with him despite it. I told him I was fine with it and we gave it a go but when it came down to sex he was amazing with his mouth and fingers... But I could not feel his penis at all, I would say fully erect it was shorter than my thumb. My question is, has anybody else experienced this with their parter? Was there ever any strain on the relationship? Any tips or advice for better penetrative sex?
