Hellp please

My bf who i love very much often says things that upset me or annoy me. I talk to him and all and he apologizes. But he keeps doing it and it piles up on me that theres all these little things hes said that are mean. I don't think i am mean to him and if i am or say something bad would want him to tell me. I just don't get how to get him to understand.
