Pregnant?

I was supposed to get my period 4 days ago and all that has been coming out is brownish stuff for about 3 days. I did start a new birth control about 4 months ago, but I don't know if that is the reason why I'm not getting a regular period. I do have sex without condoms because of the pill, but is there a chance that this brown stuff is due to being pregnant?
