Should a felon who is receiving life in prison be allowed to recieve life saving treatment?

Whether it's spur of the moment such as a heart attack or stroke, or long term as chemotherapy for cancer treaments. Is it like giving them a death sentence if we don't or is it okay because they're a criminal?

Absolutely. They deserve life saving treatment just like anyone else.

Unless they sign a DNR legally medical staff has to help. Besides some criminals are in prison for stupid stuff like selling marijuana. Should they be ignored?

If they have a heart attack sure, get stabbed and need help sure, get sick and need meds sure. 
Cancer treatment, I'm gonna say no. Regular blood transfusions or dialysis.. no. I think it's just wasted resources, that they wouldn't be paying for! There's hard working people who can't afford treatment who abide by the law... why should a murder who is serving a life sentence have that type of treatment just cause?

Yes. No cruel or unusual punishment. Denying someone treatment just because they are in jail, is cruel punishment. I'd for sure wonder where someone's morals are if they just let them die

my daughters dad is in prison right now.  He's been hospitalized a lot before actually going to jail and prison so he's been hospitalized during prison time as well and I believe he does deserve life treatment. Still human

I understand they're still human, but if they're in there for life... What's the point of trying to prolong their life? 😐 I know it sounds terrible, just wondering. Now if someone is only in there for 5-10 or even 15 years then yes by all means.
