By LMP or OV day?

Question

Should I calculate my due date by lmp or ovulation? I have a 28-29 day cycle and ovulate on cycle day 18 (opk, twinges, ewcm plus I just know I do) and have done for the last 8 cycle since my miscarriage .

So my due date by lmp is 16th Feb but 19th by ovulation .

Lmp - 12th may 
Ovulation - 29th may

It doesn't matter which one you choose the first ultrasound will be the date to go by.
We can never be sure even though we know when we ovulate.
I got pregnant with IVF with a 5 day old blastocyst. Math should be simple right, yet my snowflake decided not to hatch right away and the estimated due date changed from 9th Nov to 11th Nov :)

They usually base it on LMP but if you know actual ovulation, that's more accurate. Seeing as ovulation isn't always exact when using LMP.

If you have consistently tracked your period and know it well the I would go with ovualtion. I know when I ovulated because I was testing my LH Surge daily 1 week before I knew I was going to ovulate to hit the day dead on. And it worked. So, I know the exact day I got pregnant. I am going by that day for a due date.. not what my ultrasound scan is estimating.
