I've been on the pill for over a year. Ever since I started taking it I skip the last 2 placebo pills and start my next back so I have 5 period days instead of 7, 7 being way too long for me. I do use it perfectly and never skip any active pills, and I take it at the same time every day. The only medication I've used is Sam-E (vitamin antidepressant/improves joint function)  and I've read it doesn't affect birth control. Tonight I take my first placebo pill but somethings off. A few days before my placebos I always get brown discharge as a sign my period is coming. This month I have no brown discharge and I got used to it so it's kinda unsettling. I do have cramps though, I had tender breasts (specifically one breast) but it had gone away. I am hoping I'm not pregnant but I'd love some insight.
