Another c-section or vbac?

Looking for opinions from moms who have experienced both a natural birth and a c-section. 
My doctor is giving me the choice on how I want to give birth and I am having a very hard time making a decision. My first baby was born via emergency c-section after going through labor and starting to push. I have experienced labor and going through that again doesn't worry me. I'm more undecided about the different recoveries.

How would you give birth if given the choice and why?

I choosing c section because its my third pregnancy and I don't want the possibility of something going wrong doing a vbac.

I had an unplanned c section after laboring and several hours of pushing and a planned repeat c section. While I fully support VBAC for many women I enjoyed my scheduled c section and recovery has been a lot easier as compared to my unplanned c section. I also got to do skin to skin in the OR this time so I don't feel I missed out on that early experience.

Having third csection on Monday. Recovery has been easy for me with the previous ones so I'm not worried this time. I have a large fibroid that is a concern if I try to do vbac so it's not an option for me.

If I had a choice, I would do VBAC mainly because the recovery is much easier if you have another little one to chase after.

I chose c section for both my deliveries . Was too scared of possible emergency c sections ... The first c section was great. Great recovery. Second was a slower recovery .. If your prone to c sections then you may as well just choose that route to begin with ☺️

I'm in this predicament. Except my doctor didn't give me an option she just said you'll do a repeat section. 
But I would like to at least go over a VBAC. Talk about it. 
The main reason for me is because I want that intimate skin to skin right after baby's born. And also my csection had complications and I'm now terrified of having another. 😫 good luck
