Panic attack

So I got a text while at work, my husband has to register as a sex offender. Yes I'm sure I'll get some negative feedback, come on sharks,, attack if you want. You don't know what happened or who thr victim is.. mind you the victim is his baby's mother and a murderer who in prison for another five plus years. . I'm having a panic attack per the fact that we don't live in a great neighborhood and I get home at night and I'm pregnant. what Should I do? Should I contact my hu PO for permission to get a weapon? I drive a luxury SUV, I'm worried about someone attacking me, my soon to be born child and our cars.... any other so offender baby momma's or wives? Any ideas of what to? I already know I'll get some negative feedback but right now I'm scared for my safety because the issued flyers! Help!!!
